How I Work As a Trauma Therapist

I primarily use a form of treatment known as Accelerated Resolution Therapy [ART]. It’s a powerful tool that helps people to experience relief from trauma symptoms very quickly and with long-lasting results. As the motto for ART clearly states, you are able to “Keep the Knowledge, Lose the Pain.” In the safety of the therapy space, you are guided in a gentle and compassionate way that allows you to confront the distressing memories held in your mind and body, and neutralize the negative hold these memories have over you.

The addition of trauma-informed yoga and hypnotherapy ensures that we are affecting your growth process on a subconscious and physical level so that you experience the deepest degree of relief and freedom from your emotional and psychosomatic symptoms (symptoms that show up in the body and have their source in your emotions and beliefs).

How Trauma Therapy in Virginia Intensive Works
